Due to major construction on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., we are asking everyone NOT to travel to Washington, D.C. As much as we would like to gather at our nation's capital in mass, it is out of the question at the present time. Our mission is to unite veterans across the nation to demand measurable VA reform, transparent oversight, and timely care – while peacefully confronting corruption, waste, and systemic failures that put veterans' lives at risk. Organizers say the October 24, 2026 nationwide effort is designed to elevate veteran voices simultaneously in communities across the country, encouraging local participation, local media coverage, and local accountability. HOW TO PARTICIPATE (PUBLIC) • Do not travel to Washington, D.C. at this time; plan to attend in your home state. • Rally at your city hall, state capitol, or other public civic venue designated by local organizers. • Participate lawfully and peacefully; follow local instructions and posted rules. • Invite fellow veterans and supportive community members to attend and share official materials. MEDIA AVAILABILITY The organization will coordinate interview requests, local contacts, and day-of media access where possible. Newsrooms seeking local spokespeople or logistics details should email support@veteransfreedommarch.com. ABOUT VETERANS FREEDOM MARCH Veterans Freedom March is a veteran-led effort focused on reform, transparency, and accountability for the systems and institutions that serve veterans. The movement emphasizes lawful, peaceful civic participation and encourages broad community support. ###
